For the second part of the task, I created a crossword in English. I got a bit free for this exercise and I did it about basic things that you can find in your house.

Task 5: Create a webpage

In order to fulfill this task I have created a webpage. To do that, I just turned my Blog into a Webpage following the instructions. In added four different pages. In one of them I am uploading the tasks, and in the rest I added dictionaries, YouTube channels and a web page to learn English through songs.

In order to complete this task, I have created an image using PicLit. For this task, I have designed an activity that I could send to my students. For this activity, my students would be supposed to practise used to or didn't use to in order to talk about past habits. They will have to write down 4 sentences using those forms in order to write about past habits from when they were a few years younger.

Task 1: Create a Blog using Blogger and publish a summary of the legal framework of the use of ICT in the ESO in it

In order to create this Blog, I have used the Blogger webpage owned by Google. It was a pretty easy en straight task, because this web page is designed to be accesible for everyone. I have chosen the name Alejandro.seniorTICS for this Blog, insipred by the name of the teacher's blog, which is joseluismastertics.

For the second part of this task, I have had a look at the official framework to check how important ICT are in English teaching. In the current education law, some basic competences or skills are described. Among them, we can find Competencia Digital, which is one of the basic skills to be developped in every subject. If we check the law, we can get the following explanation about this basic competence: 

«Implica el uso creativo, crítico y seguro de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación  para alcanzar los objetivos relacionados con el trabajo, la empleabilidad, el aprendizaje, el  uso del tiempo libre, la inclusión y participación en la sociedad. Cada día nos encontramos más sumergidos en una sociedad digitalizada, por lo que para ser competente a nivel  personal y profesional resulta necesario adquirir las habilidades, actitudes, conocimientos y cambios que introducen las nuevas tecnologías.» 

From that, we can see how important it is nowadays to teach ICT to our students. In addition to that, we need to implement this basic competence in the ESL classroom. In the official framework we can find that in order to develop language skills in a positive and productive way, ICT needs to be taught:

La actividad lingüística se realiza en gran parte a través de medios tecnológicos, recogidos en el currículo como soportes frecuentes de los textos orales y escritos, por lo que la competencia digital es parte sustancial de la competencia comunicativa. Estos medios tecnológicos facilitan el autoaprendizaje, la autoevaluación y la interacción oral y escrita en contextos virtuales.
